He started at center and defense tackle for three years on Champion Teams of 1958-58-60. All S.P.A.L, All Northern California and Scholastic Coach All American (1960). Earned All Annual Athlete and Team Leader. Played for Athletic Team in Los Angeles. Attended Oregon State University, where he made All Conference and All American honors and played on Liberty Bowl and Rose Bowl Teams. Later played for Atlanta Falcons and British Colombia Lions and coached football at O.S.C, then became personal director for Hewlett Packard in Cowallis. Inducted San Mateo County Sports Hall Of Fame (1994)
