Outstanding offensive guard and tackle on the undefeated Cherokee Team of 1959 and 1960. All S.P.A.L., All Northern California, and North Shrine Football Team 1961. Played tackle at U.S.C. 1962-63-64 and earned All Conference Honors. Later in his career he started in the 1st Super Bowl for the Oakland Raiders, and later played for the New York Jets for two seasons. He had a successful business career before becoming a teacher. Inducted in the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.
