Three years varsity baseball pitcher, twice All-League; Two-time All-League varsity basketball, league leading scorer in 1945.Helped win two baseball and two basketball league varsity championships.  First Stanford player to win four-varsity baseball letters; pitched and won CIBA championship game at Stanford.  Coached and played for U.S. Naval District championship team, played semipro baseball for Palo Alto Oaks and coached Little League baseball.
